WHO IS SEISMOBOT

SEISMOBOT is a promising company in the field of geophysics and seismology, in particular, that provides smart solutions for the seismic surveys and equipment for data acquisition and geophysical related research either academic or commercial. The company aims are the development of geophysical software and related smart equipments with low price.  

Seismobot has started as an idea in 2020, however, the founder has over 30 years’ experience in software developments and instrument design.

The company headquarter is located in Saudi Arabia with offices and representatives in Cairo Egypt.

We specialized in seismic instrumentation and software applications for seismological and environmental research. In addition, special services are provided for robotic survey, real time data acquisition and analysiing, Seismic survey, seismic tomography, machine learning, and others. We deliver training courses for software and hardware installation throughout the globe in a safety conscious environment.

WHY SEISMOBOT

Due to the shortage in this kind of company that provides highly advanced services in seismology with good price, We decided to start our company to let the technology allowed to any person to use. The university students and the junior researchers are what motivate and inspire us, and have always been, first and foremost, our partners in scientific discovery. All of which are seeking for a better way to do their researches with more flexible equipment that allow them to easily conduct their researches with high quality and lower price tools.

We were working in the field of seismology all over 30 years dealing with all kind of instruments from all companies and schools. We know the different style of data manipulation and the problems existing. Here we solved all the problems and provide a comprehensive tools and instruments to be more robust, smart and accurate for the ordinary peoples, students and professionals. Our company staff and our customers, together, we’ve found solutions to the most difficult monitoring challenges, developing new products and services along the way allowing us to working with the scientific institutions, universities, geological surveys, as well as schools.

HOW WE STARTED

We started off as a software development for seismic monitoring. Our founder, Mohamed Abdelwahed, spent 30 years between the National Research Institute of Astronomy, Cairo, Egypt, Ehime, University, Japan, and King Abdulaziz University as a Seismology researcher. In 1993, he used the first digital broad band station in Egypt at that time. He recognized the benefits of digitizing seismic data. He founded SeismoBot in 2020 and developed his seismological software SGRAPH following by the several related software to solve advanced problems in seismology. He have invented the unique compression method for data storage and transmission. He has developed the first Smart Acquisition system (SAS) in which he put all his experience to achieve the goal of obtained well designed, smart equipment.

Over the years we’ve evolved into several services and integrated solutions, offering seismic instruments, complete data processing and analysis services, and software applications.

WHAT IS COMING

We specialize in network design and installation, network monitoring, real-time data acquisition and processing via our cloud-based, 24/7 data center, and induced seismicity monitoring and frac monitoring for the energy sector. Our complete and scalable solutions and our outstanding expertise have made us one of the largest seismic monitoring network operators in the world.

And as we head into our fourth decade, we continue to work closely with our customers to develop the next generation of complete solutions to help them overcome the challenges and realities of seismic monitoring in today’s world.
